The numbers [Several statistics which can be easily researched], show that the point of this post is completely valid. Police are men with guns who typically aren’t very educated [Most departments do not require a degree beyond a highschool diploma.] That being said, they aren’t instilled with some sense of justice merely due to the occupation, they are still just men with guns, whose true nature comes out in minority communities like mine, and during events like the Occupy movements. Though there are indeed exceptions, how many of these men as a whole chose this occupation to “help and protect their community” and intend to uphold the law to the fullest?
